OUR MISSION STATEMENT
“To be a successful bridge club by providing a congenial, fair and competitive environment for the enjoyment of bridge at all levels”.
About SA Bridge Assoc.
Since its humble beginnings in 1933 as the South Australian Bridge Association, the club has grown to become one of the largest and most successful clubs in Australia and, as such, can offer a wide variety of services to members. In 1978, the Unley premises were purchased, giving the club a solid base of operation.
As part of its aim to promote and foster Bridge in South Australia as well as a result of approaches from a number of areas, the SA Bridge Assoc. has expanded to offer sessions and services at a wide variety of venues across Adelaide.
This provides members with an abundance of playing times and places. Visitors are welcome to attend any of these session.
SA Bridge Assoc. is a not-for-profit organisation that is affiliated with the South Australian Bridge Federation and the Australian Bridge Federation. Each year, the members elect a committee to run the club. However, the day-to-day work is handled by the General Manager and a team of volunteers and staff.
