OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"To be a thriving and inclusive bridge club that fosters a welcoming, fair, and competitive environment, supporting the enjoyment and development of bridge for players at all levels."
About SA Bridge Assoc.
Founded in 1933, the South Australian Bridge Association (SABA) has grown from humble beginnings to become Australia’s largest and one of its most successful bridge clubs. With over 1,200 members and a proud history spanning more than 90 years, SABA continues to be a thriving hub for players of all skill levels.
In 1978, the Association established its headquarters in Unley, providing a permanent base for operations and a welcoming space for members to learn, play, and connect. Since then, SABA has expanded significantly, offering sessions at multiple venues across Adelaide in response to community demand and our mission to promote and foster the game of bridge throughout South Australia.
This wide network means members enjoy an abundance of playing opportunities across a variety of locations and times. Visitors are always welcome at our sessions.
SABA is a not-for-profit organisation, proudly affiliated with both the South Australian Bridge Federation and the Australian Bridge Federation. Our club is governed by a committee elected annually by the membership, with day-to-day operations managed by a General Manager, supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
