How it works:
Scoring will be by match points (normal pairs scoring). Competitors will play a succession of 8 board matches, earning red master points for each match they win.
A Swiss draw will be used for each round after the first, so from round two onwards, pairs will play against opponents with a similar aggregate. The field may be divided into sections during the lunch break.
Lunch Arrangements:
A light lunch will be provided. Tea and coffee are now available at the café bars in the main room and in the front lounge. A vending machine in the front lounge also provides soft drinks and snacks.
