Later Rounds of Bidding
Are you a confident bidder? Or do you lose steam as the bidding progresses?
Most bridge players are confident when opening the bidding or responding to a partner’s opening bid but become less comfortable as the bidding proceeds. The second and subsequent rounds of the bidding are a bit of a mystery. This course will help you to navigate the later rounds of bidding, whether as opener or responder, and improve your chances of arriving at the best contract.
Topics:
• What bids are forcing?
• How do I sign off at a low level?
• How do I keep the bidding going if I have a good hand, but we haven’t found a fit?
• What is a reverse?
This course is recommended for intermediate or non-supervised players.
